Francesca Biondi Dal Monte, associate professor of constitutional and public law at the Dirpolis Institute of the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, participated in the third edition of Agenda Sud 2030. The conference, entitled 'Competences for Development', took place in Naples on 4 and 5 April 2025.

The initiative, promoted by the Merita Foundation (Meridione Italia), in partnership with Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and with the hospitality of Intesa Sanpaolo, focused on the role of training as a lever for development for Southern Italy and for Italy as a whole.
The meeting brought together personalities from the institutional world, universities, businesses and the third sector to discuss concrete solutions and actions aimed at reducing early school leaving, improving access to vocational training and strengthening the links between research and production chains.

Francesca Biondi Dal Monte participated in the session entitled 'Education, inclusion and the fight against educational poverty'. Her speech highlighted the challenges of combating educational poverty and the importance of investing in schools and education as levers of democracy and the full development of the human person. Overcoming the conditions of disadvantage that characterize the student population and the territorial gaps are essential interventions to ensure the development of skills for the future.
